Australia Revises the Food Standards Code: Focus on Pesticide Residue Limit Standards
On July 11, 2023, the Australian Federal Gazette issued a revision notice for the Australia - New Zealand Food Standards Code, mainly including updating some terms, related regulations, references, and the names of regulatory agencies in the code, as well as revising the pesticide residue limit standards in Schedule 20 of the code. These revisions came into effect immediately upon publication.
